History of Swasti Hospital

That there was an urgent need of an excellent health care centre in Rangia had been being felt by the people of greater Rangia for long as, very often,  people had to carry their ailing near and dear ones either to Nalbari or to Guwahati for better treatment. Professionally a teacher and a social worker Late Bipin Chandra Kalita being father of two doctors started getting demands from the people around and thereby  built his dream of establishing such a centre and moved ahead in that direction. SWASTI HEALTH CARE Centre set up in the year 2013 was the first breed of that dream. This centre has later been transformed into SWASTI HOSPITAL in January, 2018 by incorporating a number of like-minded doctors into the fold to make it a really big venture in a shorter span of time. The hospital is located at a vantage point by the side of NH-31 which is very well connected with respect to any mode of transportation and communication.

SWASTI hospital has now become a well-known name not only in greater Rangia but also in whole of Brahmaputra valley of Assam from Dibrugarh to Dhubri as it has already been successful in giving SWASTI i.e., ‘great relief’ to a large number of patients and their families. A host of success stories of handling deadly critical cases through medicinal treatment and fine-hand surgery to exemplify its capabilities are piling up. A good number of childless women could earn motherhood through IVF procedures. Up-to-date pathology and radiology laboratories are established and a competent technically sound group is working day in and day out. Most of the state-of-the-art equipment are already procured and put in service. Supplementary Yoga and physiotherapy are also being run parallel to further heal the patients physically and mentally. Effort is on to expand the scope of treatments to many other specialties soon with goodwill of the public and blessings of GOD.
